How to Remove Reddit Content From Google Search Results

When a Reddit thread or comment ranks for your name or your business on Google, the fastest path to getting it out of search results depends on whether the goal is removing the content itself or simply keeping it from showing up in Google. The two are related but not the same, and treating them separately usually gets faster results.

The most durable fix is removing the thread from Reddit itself. Once a post no longer exists on Reddit, Google eventually drops it from search as the page gets recrawled, though this can take anywhere from days to months depending on how often Google revisits that URL. Reporting the post through Reddit’s abuse and harassment tools, or escalating to Reddit’s admin team for content that breaks site-wide policy, is the step that actually makes the underlying page disappear rather than just sink in rankings.
